What to Expect
When you arrive for your appointment you will fill out a health history
form about your pregnancy. Your therapist will then go over it
with you; you will talk about what will happen during the massage and go
over any concerns you may have. If you are having a high risk
pregnancy, you will need to get written release from you doctor or
midwife before the first session.
Each pregnancy is different. Depending on your needs and how far along
you are, you will either lie face up, face down, or on your side. Once
you are on the table, the therapist will make sure you are completely
comfortable. Each session is tailored to your specific needs and
wants.
